Trade visits during the congress
Hamburg, the host city of our congress in September is the press capital of Germany. Many internationally active publishers and distribution companies have their headquarters here and most of them are equipped with modern technique and implement up-to-date technological solutions.
We are delighted to offer you within the frame of the trade program of the congress three different trade visits and hope that the one or the other may arouse your interest.

All visits are offered to regular and trade card holders for free. A preliminary registration is necessary. The deadline for the registrations is August 31, however, we recommend an early registration as the number of places is limited.
Wednesday, September 29
Visit to the newsroom of the newspaper "Hamburger Abendblatt"- 9.30 Departure from the Congress Centre Hamburg by bus
- 9.45 Arrival to the Hamburger Abendblatt, Presentation (with focus on re-launch of the printed and the online version, print and web synergies, paid content, projects for young readers, etc.)
- 10.45 Visit of the most modern newsroom in Europe
- 11.00 Meeting of the editorial staff
- 11.15 End of visit, transfer to the Congress centre

Visit to the printing plat of the Axel Springer AG- 17.15 Departure from the Congress Centre Hamburg by bus
- 18.00 Arrival to the printing plant, short presentation
- 18.30 Inspection of the production of WELT and Süddeutsche Zeitung
- 19.15 End of visit, transfer to the Congress centre

Wednesday, September 29 & Thursday, September 30
Visit to the Franz Maurer Nachf. wholesale company in LübeckThe program is the same on both days.
- 14.15 Departure from the Congress Centre Hamburg by bus
- 15.15 Arrival to the wholesaler, short presentation
- 15.30 Inspection of the work of the picking lines and the processing of unsolds. The company is using for both tasks modern equipment produced by TWI.
- 16.30 End of visit, transfer to the Congress centre
- 17.30 arrival to the Congress centre
